Cultivate courage, generosity and compassion through the practice of mindful awareness. We’ll learn how to recognize our neurotic habits of mind and strengthen our ability to choose well-being over self-destructive behavior patterns. Together we’ll begin to tame the mind and open the heart, by practicing advanced pranayam, meditation techniques and mindful movement. We’ll explore the basic tenets of Buddhist psychology, a kind of road map to happiness. There will be plenty of time for personal practice and sharing in community.

Bring your own lunch. An evening vegetarian meal is provided.

Flow of the Day: Opening Circle, Pranayam practice, Vipassana & Sound Meditation, Outdoor Walking Meditation, Lunch & community time, a talk exploring the Buddha’s Eightfold Path, the Five Tibetan Rites, Satsang (chanting from the heart), Closing Circle, Dinner & community time..
